Ghiovanna & Family
Coterie Lounge & Cafe was founded by Ghiovanna and her daughter, Alexis Hirst—a mother-daughter team devoted to sharing great coffee and genuine hospitality. Our general manager, Alexis, leads with heart, making sure every guest feels right at home. Family is at the heart of everything we do. You might see my sister Brianna working around the cafe, my boys Jordan and Gianni pitching in, or Brandon—my partner—fixing something or MCing an event. And you’ll probably catch my mama, Bielka, popping in to bring that unmistakable “mami” warmth that makes everyone feel cared for.
We’re also proud to feature Naomi and her charming gift shop inside the cafe, bringing even more local love and creativity to our space. We sprinkle my Dominican culture wherever we can—from our flavors to our hospitality—making every visit a little brighter.
